She was rescued from being made into landfill/ rubbish.. this surfboard was covered in wax an inch thick and marked and broken. Like the Japanese art of Kintsugi ( golden repair) I breathe into life something that was broken and discarded. With my artwork bringing new energy, and breathing new life into it. Embodying the feminine and the sensual.. along with a little playfulness!
It is decorative/art piece for display not for actual surfing anymore.
